Kendall, a Detroit native, is a compassionate nurse practitioner with extensive experience in hospice, emergency care, trauma, and intensive care. She earned her BSN from the University of Detroit Mercy and her MSN, summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan–Flint. During her training, Kendall discovered her passion for addiction treatment while working with Dr. Scott and has since become a strong advocate for increasing access to substance use disorder care. She believes in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—for lasting healing. Kendall also oversees patient care at Personalized Healthcare and Serenity Med Spa. Outside of work, she enjoys lake days with her husband, three daughters, and two fur babies.
Chuck is the Program Director at The Recovery Initiative and a Licensed Addiction Counselor with over 15 years of experience treating opioid use disorder. He holds dual master’s degrees in Addiction and Mental Health Counseling and serves on the Governor’s Council on Prescription Drug Abuse and the Well Being Partnership of Greenville County. A veteran and man of strong values, Chuck is dedicated to holistic, patient-centered care.
Jill is a certified Peer Support Specialist and CAC-I candidate with a BA in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She joined The Recovery Initiative in 2017 and brings a deep personal connection to her work, celebrating over 30 years in recovery. A former Army Reservist and preschool teacher, Jill is passionate about helping others find lasting sobriety. Her focus areas include substance use counseling, CBT, motivational interviewing, and life coaching.
Josh joined RISE in 2025 after completing clinical rotations during his master’s program. He specializes in treating opioid use disorder with MOUD, dual diagnoses, and both adult and pediatric care. Personally impacted by addiction, Josh is passionate about supporting others on their recovery journey. He also provides primary and acute pediatric care in additional clinical roles.
